Expert and peer support for new faculty members
Congratulations! You landed the job! Now what?
Move to a new city, start a new job, engage with a new group of people.
How do you manage your workload without losing your mind?
A Broken Record?
You're working far more than 40 hours per week, but still feel like you're falling behind.
The people you work with are great, but you're nervous about asking questions or saying no.
You are supposed to be the expert in your field, but you still feel like a student who is still learning.
Have a clear, systematic pathway to faculty success — one that values who you are as a teacher and scholar?
Belong to a supportive community of fellow academics who get where you're coming from — because they're in the same boat?
Finish the academic year feeling confident, not crushed — and know exactly what you need (and what you don't) to thrive in higher ed?
Have an experienced academic coach to help you determine your next steps — confidently and without the stress?

About Your Coach
Hi! I'm Rosie Tighe.
I spent 20 years as an academic – from student to non-tenure track lecturer to assistant professor through tenure.
I started Compass Rose Editing because scholars deserve a partner who understands the often opaque and conflicting nature of academic life – from teaching to publishing to navigating university norms and politics.
